A Message From Our President...Dear NABA Members, Corporate Sponsors, and Perspective Members: Welcome to the official website of the Jacksonville Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA JAX). NABA is a leading professional association that represents the interests of African-Americans and other minorities in the fields of Accounting, Audit, Tax, Finance, Consulting, Governmental Affairs, and Information Technology. Our inclusive mindset encourages membership from the entry-level staff to senior executives and entrepreneurs. Chartered in 2006, NABA JAX has served the community in a multitude of ways ranging from community based initiatives (e.g. co-sponsors for NABA Day of Service) to CPE sessions. We strive to be a model of excellence for professionals that live by the motto "Lifting as We Climb". Our chapter serves as a resource to enhance the careers of our members by providing them with opportunities to network, mentor, volunteer and build technical skills through a variety of programs. Refer to our calendar for an overview of activities planned for this fiscal year. On behalf of the Executive Board and members of the Jacksonville Chapter, we thank you for your interest in NABA. We hope that you find information about NABA JAX, our upcoming events and the entire NABA community easily accessible within our site. Whether you are a current member, prospective member or corporate partner, we hope that you find this site to be very useful and informative. As we continue to be the premier professional organization in Jacksonville, we also invite you to become involved with our efforts to serve our students, membership, and community. The rewards of having such an impact on the lives of students, who are our future leaders and our community, are immeasurable. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
